Opportunity for Young Journalists and Content Creators in Bagmati Province

KATHMANDU | September 1 : Media Action Nepal, under the Czech Republic-supported project “Strengthening Young Journalists to Counter Misinformation and Promote Inclusive Media in Nepal,” is organizing a virtual training for young journalists, writers and content creators of Bagmati Province on September 13, 2025.

  • The training aims to equip 10 young journalists, writers and content creators with skills to counter misinformation, enhance digital literacy, and promote inclusive, conflict-sensitive, and gender-responsive media content.
  • Eligible applicants, those who have passed 12th grade, are between the ages of 18 and 25, and have at least one year of experience, are invited to apply by September 8, 2025.
  • Applications should include a cover letter, a short bio with contact details (email id and mobile number), and be sent to [email protected].
  • Selected participants will receive a half day (two sessions) training, along with a certificate of participation. They will also have the opportunity to engage in ongoing and future media development initiatives of Media Action Nepal.
