Passionate in changing society through journalism, Ms. Phurpa Sherpa serves as Kathmandu Valley Coordinator for Media Action Nepal (MAN). In this capacity, she coordinates MAN’s programs/activities in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur districts with range of stakeholders including media, media rights organizations, journalists and authorities. A reporter with DC Nepal.com, Sherpa holds Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, and has been trained in audio-visual journalism, public speaking and writing.
