Meet our Facilitators for Knowledge-Sharing Sessions on Conflict-Sensitive Journalism
KATHMANDU/November 11: We are pleased to announce the selection of 10 facilitators for the knowledge-sharing sessions on conflict-sensitive journalism, which will reach ten separate cohorts of 100 journalists as part of the GIZ-Civil Peace Service supported project “Strengthening the Role of Media, Youth, and CSOs in Peacebuilding.”
These facilitators were selected from our residential training workshops held last September across various districts of Karnali Province, bringing together a wide range of local insights, approaches, and experiences.
These facilitators will join a series of knowledge-sharing webinars scheduled for November 18 to 27, 2024, aimed at enhancing the capacity of journalists and media practitioners across all provinces of Nepal, including Karnali. The webinars will focus on practical knowledge, tools, and skills in conflict-sensitive journalism, drawing upon the newly developed handbook on “Conflict-Sensitive Journalism”.
