Ms. Bhandari works as a Local Peace Expert (LPE) for the Media and Peacebuilding Project at Media Action Nepal. With a Bachelors’ degree in journalism and mass communication, she brings over five years of journalism experience coupled with an avid dedication to youth engagement. Her journey in journalism has equipped with a nuanced understanding of the media landscape and its potential to foster peace and reconciliation within communities. She believes in transformative power of storytelling and dialogue in promoting understanding and harmony amidst conflict.

As the coordinator of events and training programs, she oversees the strategic planning and execution of activities aimed at nurturing the capacity of journalists, youths and CSOs. From organizing workshops and seminars to facilitating dialogue sessions and networking events, she works to create spaces for meaningful engagement and collaboration.

Mr. Chaudhary joined Media Action Nepal in 2022 as a Finance Officer and is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of financial and administrative functions within the organization. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), he brings a solid foundation of financial knowledge and strategic expertise to his roles that span a broad spectrum, from managing budgets and expenses to overseeing payroll and financial reporting.
