KATHMANDU| August 7: The Embassy of Canada, in collaboration with Newsreel Asia and Media Action Nepal, is organizing a two-day workshop on narrative journalism and human-interest storytelling.
Are you a journalist based in Nepal?
It’s time to take your storytelling skills to the next level!
The workshop is designed to equip mid-level and senior journalists with the skills to use the art of storytelling in journalism. It will help participants reimagine reportage by placing people at the heart of the news.
🗓 Training Date: September 4 and 5, 2025
📍Venue: Alfa Beta Complex, Buddhanagar, Kathmandu
Last date to apply: August 18, 2025
✅About 40 participants will be selected for the workshop.
✅Lunch and tea/coffee with refreshments will be provided on both days.
✅Participants from outside Kathmandu will need to arrange their own travel and accommodation.
