KATHMANDU| August 7: The Embassy of Canada, in collaboration with Newsreel Asia and Media Action Nepal, is organizing a two-day workshop on narrative journalism and human-interest storytelling.
Are you a journalist based in Nepal?
It’s time to take your storytelling skills to the next level!
The workshop is designed to equip mid-level and senior journalists with the skills to use the art of storytelling in journalism. It will help participants reimagine reportage by placing people at the heart of the news.
🗓 Training Date: September 4 and 5, 2025
📍Venue: Alfa Beta Complex, Buddhanagar, Kathmandu
Last date to apply: August 18, 2025
✅About 40 participants will be selected for the workshop.
✅Lunch and tea/coffee with refreshments will be provided on both days.
✅Participants from outside Kathmandu will need to arrange their own travel and accommodation.
If you are a journalist with at least three years of professional experience, you are invited to apply by filling out the registration form. Selected participants will be notified by email after the screening process.
