Meet the 20 selected young journalists

KATHMANDU| July 17: Media Action Nepal is pleased to announce the names of 20 journalists selected for the upcoming residential Training on ‘Countering Mis/Disinformation through Media Literacy & Inclusive Newsrooms’, taking place from 23–25 July 2025 in Kathmandu. Chosen from over 200 applicants nationwide, these journalists demonstrated strong commitment, enthusiasm, and professional dedication to ethical and inclusive journalism.

This capacity building initiative is part of the Czech Republic-supported project “Strengthening Young Journalists to Counter Misinformation and Promote Inclusive Media in Nepal.”
