Freedom of Expression

The article 19 of Universal Declaration of Human Rights states “Freedom of expression is the right of every individual to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers. Nepal’s newly-adopted constitution and other laws have also ensured the freedom of expression. However, in practice, there are several barriers to enjoy the right of freedom of expression and we are working to create awareness about importance of freedom of expression.
